Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with contract schedulesComplete reactive maintenance and respond to system faultsDiagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs and upgradesEnsure all work adheres to relevant health and safety and quality assurance protocolsMaintain accurate records/documentation for each siteLiaise with subcontractors and coordinate their attendance on-siteRespond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs as requiredProvide detailed reports and updates for completed workSupport system upgrades and project-based installations where necessaryWork alongside and support other trades and engineers on siteQualifications and Experience

Essential:

Proven experience working with fire alarm, intruder, access control, and CCTV systemsStrong fault-finding and system commissioning skillsGood understanding of current regulations (BS5839, BS EN54, etc.)Full UK driving licenceExcellent communication and organisational skillsDesirable:

Industry-recognised certifications (e.g. FIA Units, IPAF, ECS, CSCS, manufacturer training)Experience working on major system brands (e.g. Gent, Advanced, C-Tec, Hikvision, Paxton, Galaxy, Texecom)What’s in it for you?
