About Our Customer
A growing, accredited integrator operating across the UK is adding a permanent Fire & Security Engineer to its Durham team. Its work spans fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems, and it offers a stable long-term career with specialist training and room to progress.

Salary and Benefits – Fire & Security Engineer

• Basic salary of up to £40,000, dependent on experience
• Overtime rates available
• Uncapped commission with OTE of £55,000+

Key Responsibilities – Fire & Security Engineer

• Keep fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems installed, serviced and maintained
• Manage your own schedule and workload to deliver a reliable service to clients
• Comply with relevant industry standards and health & safety requirements at all times
• Cover emergency repairs and call-outs as part of a scheduled rota
• Present a professional image of the company when on client sites

Skills and experience – Fire & Security Engineer:

• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Full UK driving licence
• Solid track record working on fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems
• Training or experience on a specific manufacturer''s fire alarm panels is highly advantageous
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
