Responsibilities - Fire & Security Technician
As a Fire & Security Technician, your responsibilities will include:
• Carrying out routine servicing and fault-finding across a range of fire and security systems.
• Completing scheduled preventative maintenance visits in line with client requirements.
• Attending reactive breakdowns and service requests within agreed response times.
• Diagnosing system faults and implementing effective repair solutions.
• Identifying equipment requiring replacement or further remedial works.
• Accurately completing service documentation and compliance records.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with industry standards.
• Maintaining high levels of customer service while working on client sites.
Requirements – Fire & Security Technician
• Relevant educational qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
• Electrical qualification such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or similar.
• Previous experience working on CCTV systems, including networked and traditional platforms.
• Knowledge of fire detection and alarm systems.
• IPAF certification beneficial, although training can be provided.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
