Fire and Security Contracts Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive

Contracts Manager

to lead the delivery of outsourced

fire and security maintenance works

within our Technical Services team. This is a high-impact role, responsible for ensuring safety, compliance, and value for money across significant contracts.Location is flexible and you can be based out of any of these offices

Newbury, Bristol, Exeter, Bournemouth, Reading, Basingstoke .Key responsibilities

Managing contracts worth up to £4 million annually.Overseeing fire and security works, including planned, responsive, and cyclical programmes.Monitoring and auditing contractor performance, including inspections and documentation reviews.Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.Working across systems such as fire doors, compartmentation, alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers, dry risers, and fire dampers.Operating with a high level of autonomy, with responsibility for delivery but no direct reports.What we are looking for

A proven track record in contract management, ideally within fire and security works.Experience in fire door inspections, fire risk assessments, or building surveying.Strong knowledge of life safety systems and current building regulations.Skills in budgeting, forecasting, and contractor performance management.Excellent communication and influencing abilities.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of complex fire and security programmes while driving compliance, quality, and value for money.If you have the experience and expertise to succeed in this role, we would like to hear from you.Details
