We are seeking an experienced Fire and Health and Safety Risk Assessor to join our expanding surveying team. The role involves conducting site-based risk assessments on clients’ portfolios, covering internal and external common parts.Our clients are primarily Residential Property Managers overseeing purpose-built residential developments across the UK.Key Responsibilities And Tasks Include
Conducting Fire and General HandS Risk Assessments according to best industry practices.Producing accurate, timely risk assessments with clear instructions for required works.Liaising with clients to ensure understanding, compliance, and timely resolution of fire-related issues.Assisting clients in creating remedial work schedules if necessary.Attending client meetings when needed.Peer review and validation of works.Providing technical advice aligned with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and relevant HandS legislation.Achieving all set KPI targets.Key Skills And Qualifications
CFPA / IFE Level 3 or 4 or equivalent qualification (essential)A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.Strong knowledge of fire safety and HandS legislation, technical standards, and industry best practices.Proven experience in conducting Fire and HandS Risk Assessments.Professional qualifications in fire safety and risk assessments (e.g., Fire Protection Association, Fire Industry Association, NEBOSH).Professional qualifications in Health and Safety management and risk assessments (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH).Competence to carry out Type 1, 2 and 4 Fire Risk Assessments when required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously.Understanding of British Standards related to fire and life safety systems and HandS.Ability to build and maintain professional relationships both internally and externallyPlease note that candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without restrictions, with documented evidence of eligibility required.
