Fire and Building Safety Manager£59,308 (Inclusive of £2000 car allowance) Bedfordshire, HybridMonday- Friday, full time permanent We are seeking an experienced Fire and Building Safety Manager to take a leading role in maintaining and improving safety standards across a diverse residential property portfolio. This position offers the chance to work within a forward-thinking organisation where your technical knowledge will have a direct impact on resident safety, regulatory compliance and the ongoing improvement of building standards. You will oversee key fire and building safety programmes, provide assurance that statutory obligations are being met, and work closely with internal teams, residents, contractors, consultants and regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of fire and building safety programmes, from planning through to completion and assurance. Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022 and Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. Coordinate and maintain Building Safety Case information and ensure accurate Golden Thread records are available. Oversee fire risk assessment programmes, monitoring recommendations and ensuring remedial works are completed effectively and on time. Manage the performance of external contractors and specialist consultants, ensuring appropriate standards are maintained and CDM obligations are met.
