Fire & Security Engineer

Job Title: Senior Fire and Security Engineer
Location: Mobile role covering all areas within the M25 (London-wide)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (45 hours per week)

A well-established client in the fire and security industry is seeking a Senior Fire and Security Engineer to join their growing team. This is a mobile role ideal for an experienced engineer looking to take ownership of installations, maintenance, and commissioning work across a range of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and commission fire alarm and security systems in accordance with current standards

• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and accurately

• Work on a range of systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control

• Provide professional customer service on-site and over the phone

• Keep accurate records of work and equipment used

• Participate in a shared on-call rota for emergency call-outs

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience  in fire alarm and/or security system engineering

• Strong understanding of installation and commissioning standards

• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Willingness to travel across London (within the M25)

Desirable:

• Experience with smoke ventilation systems

• Familiarity with major security brands and integration between systems

• Industry certifications (FIA, ECS, CSCS, etc.)
