Fire & Security Service & Installation Engineer

Location: Lancashire & North West (Travel Required)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £40,(Apply online only) per annum (depending on experience) + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Guide Security Services is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Service & Installation Engineer to join our growing team. If you''re passionate about delivering high-quality installations, servicing, and maintenance across a range of fire and security systems, we''d love to hear from you.

• Install, commission, service, and maintain Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control systems.
• Diagnose faults and attend emergency call-outs.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Complete installations ranging from small upgrades to large-scale projects.
• Produce accurate electronic job sheets, service reports and timesheets.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify opportunities for additional works where appropriate.
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and current British Standards.
• Attend training courses and company meetings to develop your skills.

• 2–5 years'' experience within the Fire & Security industry.
• Proven experience installing, servicing and commissioning Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of relevant BS & EN standards.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, Axis, Samsung, Morley, Advanced and Kentec is desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• A professional, reliable and positive attitude.
