Fire Alarm/Suppression/Electrical Engineer

An established specialist life safety contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to support continued growth across their service and maintenance division.This is a hands-on role working on complex, critical life safety systems, offering strong earning potential through overtime, travel and allowances.The RoleInstallation (project-based), commissioning, servicing and remedial works on fire alarm and fire suppression systemsWorking on complex systems within critical environments (e.g. data centres and high-risk sites)Predominantly site-based across the North West, with UK travel as requiredOccasional working away:Typically 1 week per quarter (sometimes 2)Overseas work mainly in Germany and the NetherlandsAll travel, accommodation, food and expenses covered when working awayPaid overtime and enhanced rates for UK and overseas workExperience Required3 5+ years experience working on fire alarm systemsStrong experience with addressable systems (e.g. Gent, Notifier, Advanced)Experience with gas suppression is highly desirable and a key differentiatorExperience with commissioning, fault finding and system-level troubleshootingComfortable working independently on complex sitesFull UK driving licencePackage DetailsBasic salary circa £40,000Higher salaries available (£42k £43k+) for strong all-round candidatesSignificant overtime available realistic total earnings £50k £70k+Company van provided (fully equipped with tools)Paid allowances when working awayAll ..... full job details .....
