The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of fire detection, emergency lighting, and AOV systems across a range of client sites. The role requires a good working knowledge of relevant British Standards and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver safe, high-quality work. Experience with CCTV or security systems is desirable but not essential. Location Our head office is based in E15 (Stratford). We are actively seeking candidates located in West London to cover client sites in that area efficiently. Fire Detection and Life Safety Systems Install, service, maintain, and commission fire alarm systems (conventional, addressable, and networked) Ensure compliance with BS 5839-1:2017 and BAFE SP203-1 Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks Produce accurate documentation (test sheets, certificates, reports) Assist with system programming, cause and effect testing, and interface checks Emergency Lighting Systems Install, test, and maintain systems in line with BS 5266-1:2016 Carry out periodic inspections and maintain logbooks Identify faults and recommend remedial works or upgrades AOV (Automatic Opening Ventilation) Systems Install, service, and maintain AOV/smoke ventilation systems Ensure compliance with BS 7346-8:2013 and BS EN 12101 Conduct functional testing and confirm integration with fire alarm systems Report ..... full job details .....
