This position requires strong technical knowledge, a thorough understanding of UK fire-safety standards and experience working with conventional, addressable and wireless systems. Key Responsibilities Install and commission fire alarm systems. Complete planned and reactive maintenance. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs. Test conventional, addressable and wireless fire alarm systems. Complete system modifications and upgrades. Ensure all work complies with BS 5839 and current fire-safety legislation. Produce accurate service reports, test records and certification. Identify system defects, compliance issues and recommended remedial work. Communicate professionally with customers and site representatives. Maintain the company vehicle, tools and equipment provided.
