      <description>Location: Ashford | Salary: &amp;pound;270 - &amp;pound;280/day free parking and overtime | Type: Temporary | Fire Alarm Engineer      Padstone Recruitment is currently recruiting for Fire Alarm Engineers for our commercial client in the Kent/Ashford area.        Key Responsibilities:    To install, commission, service and fault find the fire systems on customer premises.    Awareness and Compliance with code of practice and industry regulations.    Ensure wiring duties meet with BS 5839 Part 1, Part 6 and BS 7671 (wiring regulations).    Ensure all fire alarm systems are BAFE compliant.    Installation of wired and wireless fire alarm systems, in line with specification, drawings and current regulations Programming of systems to ensure fully operational.    Fault diagnosis of existing systems where testing of electrical connections will be required.    Adhering to all Health &amp; Safety requirements as detailed within the health and safety management system, risk assessments and method statements.    Use of mobile device to receive, update and communicate all tasks assigned to job holder.    Ensure company vehicle is kept clean, tidy and presentable at all times and in line with company fleet requirements.
