Fire Alarm Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial, industrial and residential premises. You will work closely with customers, project managers and other engineers to ensure all systems are installed and maintained to a high standard and in accordance with relevant British Standards and industry requirements. Key Responsibilities Install, commission and maintain fire detection and alarm systems. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing. Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently and safely. Undertake testing and commissioning of new and existing systems. Complete installation and maintenance works in accordance with BS 5839 and relevant legislation. Identify system defects and recommend appropriate remedial works. Complete service reports, certificates and job documentation accurately. Liaise professionally with customers and provide clear explanations of works undertaken. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company health and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of equipment, parts and materials used. Work independently while also supporting other engineers and project teams when required. Participate in an on-call or emergency call-out rota where applicable.
