Fire Alarm Engineer

LSFire are looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team in Scotland. The Fire Alarm Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with current regulations, customer requirements, and company standards. The role involves working at customer sites to provide high-quality technical support while maintaining excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities •Install, commission, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial, industrial, and residential properties. •Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits in accordance with scheduled service agreements. •Diagnose and rectify faults on fire alarm and life safety systems. •Conduct testing and inspection of fire alarm equipment to relevant standards. •Complete all service and maintenance documentation accurately and promptly. •Ensure all works comply with current fire safety legislation, British Standards, and company procedures. •Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding system operation and maintenance. •Attend emergency callouts and breakdowns as required. •Liaise with customers, office staff, and management to ensure effective communication of site works. •Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicle, and stock levels. •Identify opportunities for remedial works and system upgrades. •Follow Health and Safety procedures and conduct risk assessments when required.
