Fire Alarm Engineer - Leeds - Freelance Contract

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a nationwide fire compliance and social-housing contractor, who are currently looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join them on a freelance contract that could last upto 1 year.

The contract can be started ASAP for the right individual and we will be looking to pay between -210230 per day.

Key Requirements:

Good Understanding of either BS 5839-1 or-BS 5839-6.
ECS Card or CSCS Card.
Good understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and how to read system blueprint.
UK''s Driving License

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up new conventional or addressable fire alarm panels, detectors, and sounders, then testing them before they go live.
Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks to keep existing systems reliable and compliant.
Diagnosing system errors, tracking down wiring or component issues, and replacing broken hardware.
