We are looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to play a vital role in maintaining safety systems for our customers. This is a field-based role that includes both scheduled maintenance and reactive callouts, ensuring customer systems are safe, compliant, and running smoothly.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out safety system maintenance as per level 2 requirements.
• Attend phase 2 reactive callouts where customers have reported faults (secondary support when the lead engineer is already on site).
• Take part in the out-of-hours callout rota.
• Maintain and manage enhanced van stock to achieve high first-time fix rates.
• Ensure van stock is controlled in line with level 1 and 2 requirements.
• Conduct Risk Assessments and Method Statements, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
• Work closely with the Head of Compliance to ensure all tasks align with JLA''s compliance framework

The Right Person
 
The successful Fire Alarm Engineer will have Proven hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems (or similar safety systems) as well as the following skills and attributes:

• Experience with the installation of Fire Alarm Systems
• Strong understanding of safety systems.
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards.
• Ability to fault-find and resolve issues.
