Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintenance & Servicing: Conduct regular servicing and maintenance of existing systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with relevant standards.
- Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Diagnose and rectify faults in fire and security systems promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with clients professionally, providing technical advice and recommendations for system upgrades or improvements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Complete accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation in a timely manner.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIA, BAFE) are desirable.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
