Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. The company specialises in the installation, maintenance and commissioning of fire alarm systems, working with a diverse range of clients across the North West.

Salary & Benefits – Fire Alarm Engineer- £35,000 – £40,000 basic salary
- Overtime paid at double time
- Travel time paid after 15 miles
- Company vehicle provided
- 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays

- Additional allowances for out-of-hours call-outs
- 1 in 5 on-call standby rota
- Install, maintain and commission fire alarm systems including Advanced, C-Tec, Protec and Gent.
- Carry out emergency lighting maintenance and installation.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with BS5839-1, BS5839-6 and BS5266 standards.
- Participate in the on-call standby rota, currently 1 week in 5.
- Provide effective fault-finding, problem-solving and decision-making while working in the field.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship with strong attention to detail.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company and industry standards.
- Minimum 3 years'' experience in fire alarm maintenance, installation and commissioning.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good working knowledge of BS5839-1, BS5839-6 and BS5266.
- FIA qualifications, including FIA Units or Foundation route.
- Electrical Level 3 technical and vocational qualification.
- BAFE Fire Extinguisher Technician Diploma would be preferred.
- Ability to pass a DBS check.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and communication abilities.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good attendance record.
