Days (38 hours per week):
Monday - Thursday: 7:15am - 16:00pm and Friday: 7:15am - 12:15am
Hourly pay : -13.90 ph
About the Role
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves deburring, finishing, inspecting, and preparing precision-machined components to meet quality and customer requirements, including aerospace standards.
You will work with a range of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to ensure components are finished to specification while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Deburr and finish machined components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Carry out operations such as drilling, countersinking, chamfering, tapping, polishing, trimming, and sawing.
- Inspect and measure components using callipers, gauges, fixtures, and other measuring equipment.
- Safely use hand tools and power tools to achieve the required finish and quality standards.
- Handle precision aerospace components with care and attention.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Support production targets and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Participate in team meetings and daily production discussions.
- Complete routine equipment checks where required.
- Provide holiday and overtime cover when needed to support the team.
