Are you an experienced Finishing Site Manager looking to join a leading fit out contractor on a flagship commercial project?

Our client is a well-established contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality commercial fit out projects across the UK. They are currently seeking a Finishing Site Manager to take the lead on the final stages of a 70,000 sq ft CAT A office fit out in Manchester, with a project value of approximately -5 million.

The Role

As Finishing Site Manager, you''ll be responsible for driving the project through its final phases, ensuring exceptional quality standards are achieved while maintaining programme deadlines. You''ll work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors and client representatives to deliver a first-class handover.

Responsibilities

• Managing all finishing trades on site.
• Coordinating subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to the highest standard.
• Carrying out quality inspections and snagging.
• Managing defect resolution and ensuring timely close-out.
• Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and final handover.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finishing Site Manager on commercial fit out projects.
• Previous CAT A and/or CAT B fit out experience.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and work to tight deadlines.
