Job Title: Finishing Manager (1-Week Cover) Location: Rugeley, Staffordshire Start Date: Monday Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE Only Duration: 1 Week (5 Days) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Finishing Manager for a short-term, 1-week holiday cover starting this Monday on a high-volume new-build residential development in Rugeley. You will be stepping in to drive the final stages of plot handovers, working closely with trade subcontractors to ensure high-quality snagging and handover standards are met on schedule. Key Responsibilities Managing sub-contractors on plot finishings, paintwork, joinery, and final cosmetics. Carrying out detailed snagging lists and ensuring swift remediation of outstanding defects. Maintaining strict site health and safety standards. Conducting daily site inductions and toolbox talks if required. Working alongside the lead Site Manager to maintain project momentum for the week. Required Qualifications and Experience Proven track record as an Assistant Site Manager or Finishing Manager on new-build residential housing schemes. Valid CSCS Card (Black or White essential).
