Finishing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finishing Manager to join the site team on a major residential development in Southall.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing apartments through the final stages of construction, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard through to snagging and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage internal finishing trades from second fix through to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are completed to programme.
• Manage multiple apartments at different stages of completion.
• Carry out quality inspections, snagging and de-snagging.
• Drive defect close-out and prepare units for client/customer handover.
• Coordinate finishing works with MEP and other packages.
• Monitor labour, progress and short-term programmes.
• Review drawings and resolve design/site issues.
• Maintain protection and quality of completed works.
• Ensure high standards of health & safety and site housekeeping.

Requirements

• Previous Finishing Manager / Internals Manager / Site Manager experience.
• Strong background on large residential or apartment developments.
• Proven experience delivering units through snagging and handover.
• Excellent knowledge of internal finishes and construction sequencing.
• Strong subcontractor management and communication skills.
• Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred.
