Job Title: Finishing Manager
Location: City of London
Duration: 12 Months
Project: New Build Commercial Development

Job Description
A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to join a major new build commercial project in the City of London. This is a 12-month contract opportunity working on a high-profile development delivering high-quality internal finishes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the finishing stages of the project, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standard, within programme and in line with health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all internal finishing works on site

  • Manage subcontractors and ensure quality standards are maintained

  • Monitor progress against programme and report to the Site/Project Manager

  • Carry out quality inspections and snagging

  • Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations

  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely completion of finishes

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Finishing Manager on large commercial new build projects

  • Previous experience with Tier 1 contractors is preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control

  • Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme

  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification
