Finchley KS1 Teaching position - April start

Full-Time | April 2026 Start | MPS1-MPS6 | 08:30-15:30

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Primary Teacher to join a warm, inclusive, and multi-faith 3-form entry primary school in Barnet for the remaining of the academic year. There is potential for extension beyond the academic year for the right candidate.

About the Role:

• Year Group: KS1
• Contract: Full-time, long-term
• Hours: 08:30-15:30
• Start Date: April 2026
• Pay: MPS1-MPS6 (dependent on experience)
• Support: Full-time Teaching Assistant in class
• Curriculum: Must have sound knowledge and experience delivering the KS1 English National Curriculum
• Environment: Inclusive, multi-faith school with strong community values

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1
• A strong grasp of the English National Curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
• A warm, flexible and proactive approach to teaching
• A desire to work collaboratively with a parallel teacher and support staff
