Financial Transactions Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transactional or Operational Finance Manager to join this public sector body on a permanent basis. Working on either a homebased or hybrid basis, your role will be to manage a professional and comprehensive Transaction Service that is customer focused, ensuring a high standard of service delivery. This will include management and development of the Debtors, Creditors and Income functions as well as ensuring income is collected quickly and accounted for directly.Day to day your role will include:Managing and supporting the transactional services team members, planning workloads and developing staff.Manage customer and supplier reconciliationsEnsuring prompt and accurate preparation of paymentsMaintain the debtor ledgersEnsuring audit standards are met.To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience in leading a transactional or operational finance team as well as some public sector finance experience.
