Financial Services Administrator
JRRL have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join a professional and supportive financial advice firm in Westerham. The company provides personalised financial planning and investment advice to individuals, families and businesses. The successful candidate will support Financial Advisers and help ensure clients receive an efficient, friendly and responsive service.
After successfully completing probation, there may be the opportunity to work 8:30am to 5pm, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break and every second Friday off. The working-from-home day is not fixed.
Duties for the Financial Services Administrator:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to Financial Advisers
- Preparing and processing client documentation and new business
- Supporting ongoing client servicing and annual review administration
- Liaising with clients, financial providers and other professional contacts by phone, email and letter
- Obtaining information from investment, pension and insurance providers
- Monitoring outstanding requirements and progressing cases within appropriate timescales
- Preparing documentation for client meetings and following up on agreed actions
- Maintaining accurate client records, internal systems and audit trails
- Processing authorised client instructions and transactions accurately
- Following company procedures and regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty
- Handling personal and financial information securely and confidentially
- Identifying and escalating complaints, errors, delays, potential client detriment or other concerns Supporting the wider administration team as required
Person Specification for the Financial Services Administrator:
- Previous financial services experience is essential, ideally within financial advice, wealth management or a similar environment
- A good understanding of financial products such as pensions, investments, ISAs and protection
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience using a CRM system; Xplan experience would be highly desirable
- Organised, proactive and reliable, with a professional and approachable manner
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion and provide excellent client service
- Hours: 9am to 5pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break
- Benefits: 24 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (three days to be used for the Christmas closure), death-in-service cover, private medical, pension and one day working from home each week after probation
This is a full-time position. The salary range reflects the candidate’s level of experience, the lower end of the band is suited for individuals who may require additional training to meet the role''s requirements, while the higher end is for candidates who possess the exact skills and experience outlined above.
