Financial Risk Analyst

My client, an established, respected and growing Financial Services company, seek an experienced Financial Risk Analyst to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team. This role offers the opportunity to provide independent oversight, challenge and assurance across a broad range of financial risk activities while working closely with senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Provide second-line oversight and challenge of financial risk management activities. Review and assess credit risk management frameworks and Asset Liability Management (ALM) activities. Support oversight of internal credit rating methodologies and associated risk controls. Review Matching Adjustment applications and ongoing management of related risks. Contribute to validation activities for internal models and track remediation of findings. Support risk reporting for Executive and Board-level governance committees. Review actuarial assumptions, methodologies and risk-related initiatives. Provide risk oversight on investment activities, reinsurance arrangements and strategic projects. Coordinate contributions to the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process. Support the maintenance and enhancement of Enterprise Risk Management and Risk Appetite Frameworks. Monitor key financial risk metrics and contribute to regular risk reporting. ..... full job details .....
