| |**Financial Reporting Project Manager****Business Area: Finance****Place of Work: Liverpool****Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract**When you join USS, the size and scale of our pension scheme mean you will have numerous opportunities to learn and develop your career.Given our size, you''ll have real autonomy and influence as you collaborate closely with a wide-ranging team of experts.Our office is a vibrant place to work, and we offer flexibility through our hybrid model of office and home working.### **About the Role**In your role as Financial Reporting Project Manager, you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.This role provides a great opportunity to project manage the Scheme Annual Report and Accounts (ARA), USSIM and USSL statutory accounts, and the SPV statutory accounts. **What You Will Be Doing**As a trusted part of the Finance team, you will be responsible for:* Preparing and managing the project plan for the ARA, USSIM/USSL and SPV statutory accounts, including agreement of key milestones and deliverables* Managing key stakeholders and establishing effective working relationships with peers in Finance, Company Secretarial, and those contributing to the production of the front end of the Annual Report and Accounts, including the external design agency* Producing associated governance documents such as the Project Initiation Document (PID), risk register and stakeholder analysis* Providing regular reporting to stakeholders to demonstrate project progress against milestones* Working with the Financial Reporting team to deliver the Scheme Annual Report and Accounts in a timely and efficient manner, to the required level of quality and detail, including monitoring the progress of the verification file as information is received* Acting as the main point of contact with the external agency project manager to ensure alignment and tracking against the plan### **About You**We know that sometimes people can be put off applying for a job if they don''t tick every box.
