As Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll lead the preparation of UK statutory accounts and drive high-quality financial reporting across the UK group and related entities. You’ll manage complex accounting projects, partner with the Shared Service Centre, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders—including EY auditors—to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Prepare UK statutory accounts under FRS101 using CasewareConvert management accounts to IFRS for UK securitisation structuresStay ahead of IFRS developments and narrative reporting requirementsManage IFRS 16 lease accounting, including ROU assets and lease liabilitiesConduct structured balance sheet reviews and ensure GL reconciliation accuracyProduce quarterly MI reports for external funders, reconciling to statutory accountsCollaborate across UK, Ireland, and Nordics finance teams to support reporting and decision-makingSupport external reporting for acquisitions, disposals, and restructuringAudit and ControlsLead the annual external audit process, coordinating with EY and internal teamsDraft technical papers on key accounting judgmentsMaintain robust reporting controls and support the Group Internal Control programmeAdvise on accounting treatments and safeguard financial system integrityBusiness Partnering and ManagementSupport the Finance Director with cash flow analysis and monthly reporting packsProvide analytical commentary on balance sheet and PandLIdentify and implement process improvements across reporting functionsWhat We’re Looking ForACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), ideally with audit experience in practiceStrong knowledge of statutory accounts, IFRS (especially IFRS 16), and financial reporting principlesExperience with Caseware or similar accounts production toolsProven ability to prepare technical accounting papers and manage auditsAdvanced Excel and ERP/reporting system proficiencyExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAnalytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous ..... full job details .....
