Lead on the preparation and review of consolidated group financial statements under IFRSManage the quarterly and annual reporting cycles, ensuring compliance with external audit requirements and regulatory obligationsOversee the preparation of key disclosures and technical accounting papers for senior stakeholders and the Audit CommitteeProvide insightful analysis and commentary on group results for management and external reporting purposesLiaise with external auditors and advisors to support the smooth delivery of statutory and regulatory filingsPartner with global business units to ensure accurate financial information flows into consolidation and reporting processesSupport group budgeting and forecasting cycles with technical input and variance analysisDrive continuous improvement projects, including systems, processes, and controls enhancements across reporting functionsProvide technical IFRS guidance to the wider finance team and business where requiredRole Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)Experience in commodities trading or shipping is essentialPrior Big 4 or Top 10 practice experience is highly desirableStrong knowledge of IFRS and consolidated group reportingExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsProactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSenioriy level
