I am currently recruiting for an experienced finance professional to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and project finance within a local authority. The role will be for 6-12 months and will be paying 650 p/day. Key responsibilities includeMedium-term financial planning and budget managementFinancial modelling, forecasting and analysisSupporting transformation, savings and financial recovery programmesDeveloping business cases and options appraisalsAdvising senior stakeholders and service directorsMonitoring project finances, risks and benefitsRequirements Strong local government/public-sector finance experience, excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills, and proven experience delivering financial planning and transformation projects.
