This is a great opportunity to join a highly dynamic team supporting the business through reforecast / budget cycles, management reporting, cashflow planning and other planning and analysis.The FPandA team works closely with Finance and wider Aztec leadership to help steer the business through continued high rates of growth and increasing complexity, as well as supporting a Transformation programme targeted at both Finance capabilities and setting Aztec up to continue its significant growth trajectory.An ideal candidate is someone who is experienced with FPandA processes and can add value through analysis, insight and effective communication.Key Responsibilities:Support the delivery and analysis of quarterly forecast and annual budgetCash flow forecasting, scenario planning and sensitivity analysisSupport the development and preparation of board papers including commentary and additional analysis for the executive managementProactive engagement both with finance business partners and directly with the divisions and support teams to provide detailed analysis of budgets, plans and forecasts including analysis of income statement, headcount and KPIs to understand main assumptions, key drivers, trends and risks and opportunitiesAssist in the development of the Group longer term strategic plans with appropriate financial forecasting and metricsSkills, knowledge, expertise:Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) and experienced in FPandA processesHighly proficient with Excel and demonstrable experience of financial modellingHigh level of attention to detail to deliver work to a high quality, combined with drive and energy to meet tight timelinesInquisitive and analytical mind with a real interest in understanding the overall businessStrong verbal and written communication with excellent PowerPoint skillsExcellent interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with stakeholders, and able to help non-finance stakeholders understand their performance and consequent actionsExperience working with senior personnel within large organisationsExposure to financial services, in particular Fund Services business, would be an added advantageWho are we?Aztec Group has come a long way since first opening its doors in Jersey back in 2001.
