Job Title: Financial Lines UnderwriterSalary: £80,000 - £100,000 (Dependent on Experience)Location: LondonPURPOSE OF THE ROLEOur client, a Specialty MGA, is seeking a Financial Lines Underwriter to support the continued growth of their financial lines portfolio. This role is suited to an established London Market Underwriter with a strong broker network and a hunter mentality, who thrives on meeting and engaging with brokers to generate new business.You will be responsible for underwriting financial lines risks across DandO, FI and Cyber, building and maintaining broker relationships, and contributing to portfolio growth across a range of industry sectors including solicitors, accountants and beyond.RESPONSIBILITIESUnderwrite financial lines risks across DandO, Financial Institutions and Cyber, covering both new business and renewals in line with underwriting appetiteDevelop and grow a profitable portfolio across a range of industry sectorsBuild and maintain strong broker relationships to support new business generation and retentionIndependently assess, rate and price risks in a timely and commercially sound mannerEnsure underwriting decisions align with internal guidelines and regulatory requirementsProduce accurate and compliant underwriting documentationContribute to portfolio strategy, product development and market growth initiativesMaintain high service standards to support broker satisfaction and retentionEnsure fair customer outcomes in line with regulatory ..... full job details .....
