Financial Lines Development Underwriter (Prestigious Insurer)

We are delighted to be partnering with this world-leading insurance company that is seeking a Development Underwriter within its highly successful Financial Lines team.This is arguably the most exciting insurer in the market right now; growing 20% year on year, and on track to double in size over the next 5 years. As Development Underwriter, you''ll be required to source mid-market new business opportunities within the South East region, underwriting Professional and Management risks within your defined underwriting authority. You''ll have a strong desire to be highly visible to brokers, encouraging development meetings and telephone contact. As well as leveraging your own relationships within the broker market, you''ll also work closely with the Development Director to secure profitable new relationships.
