This will run till the end of 2026 and could be extended, with a rate up to the £450 a day mark. This is a genuine 2nd Line role, and candidates should have demonstrable experience operating within a 2LOD Financial Crime Compliance environment. Experience solely within 1st Line KYC/CDD or client onboarding will not be sufficient. Key responsibilities: Conducting 2nd Line Financial Crime Compliance reviews of corporate and institutional clients. Performing periodic and risk-based reviews across AML, KYC and Customer Due Diligence. Reviewing and challenging client files, documentation and risk assessments. Identifying information gaps, weaknesses or inconsistencies and ensuring these are appropriately addressed. Providing effective 2nd Line challenge and oversight of client due diligence activity. Assessing client risk in line with regulatory expectations and internal Financial Crime policies. Escalating material issues and higher-risk cases where appropriate.
