Financial Controls Manager Permanent Liverpool - £58,000 to £70,000 + Benefits Our client is a large not for profit organisation that has grown considerably over the last 12 months and is now going through a period of great transitional change. We are now seeking a qualified technical accountant to help delivers the organisation''s ambitious delivery plans. As the Financial Controls Manager, you will join a talented and committed finance team, and your role will be to support key finance stakeholders in the management and development of the financial control environment across the group. Responsibilities: Ensure that all the processes are fully defined, properly documented and compliant with the relevant accounting standards to ensure good financial control Review routine finance processes and controls to ensure they are appropriate and highlight any risks Undertake regular testing across finance to ensure compliance and financial robustness Work with both financial and non-financial colleagues to ensure financial controls are applied to all key systems and processes Undertake a deep analysis and audit review of controls and processes across a range of financial outputs to formally identify an effective internal controls framework Work closely with the Finance Processing Manager and Financial Accounting Manager to ensure month end processes and procedures, such as balance sheet reconciliation and month end journals, are processed in a timely and accurate manner Monitor ..... full job details .....
