Financial Controller

Financial Controller Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 Start: Immediate Location: Crawley Hours: 8am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday The Opportunity: Our client is looking for an experienced and hands-on Financial Controller to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in the financial management and reporting of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially minded finance professional with experience across the full finance cycle, including sales and purchase ledger, credit control, cashflow, banking, payroll, VAT and management accounts. Working closely with senior management, you will provide accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions, while maintaining strong financial controls and processes. Key Responsibilities: Finance Administration and Ledgers Manage the finance inbox and maintain accurate customer and supplier records. Manage sales and purchase ledger processes, including invoicing, payments and account reconciliations. Oversee credit control, customer queries, debtor reports and statements. Process supplier invoices, expenses, payment runs and remittances. Banking and Cashflow Complete daily bank, cash and corporate card reconciliations. Manage petty cash and resolve discrepancies. Prepare and manage cashflow forecasts, monitoring actual movements against forecast. Payroll Manage monthly payroll payments, including HMRC payments.
