Financial ControllerBased: BoltonSalary: £65k - £80k dependent on experienceWe are working with a fantastic, growing SME based in Bolton looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. The business are growing rapidly with this role overseeing finance reporting to the CEO whilst heavily involved in developing processes/new systems to support their growth over the next 3-5 years.Role:Preparing management accounts, board packs and statutory accounts including year end tax, audit and payroll requirementsPreparing and creating budgets and forecasts, working with wider department managers driving cost control and profitabilityProducing financial reports and analysis for the board, attending monthly board meetings and offering recommendationsBalance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting - overseeing all treasury and costsMaintaining fixed asset register, posting journals and managing accruals/prepaymentsOverseeing all transactional finance and 2 staff members - first POC for auditors, banks and external relationshipsDriving improvements across finance and the site, working with department managers to deliver systems/process/cost improvementsReviewing internal controls, ensuring business and finance processes are sustainable for future growthExperience:ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience as a Finance Manager/FC Experience as number 1 in an SME highly desirableManufacturing experience essentialSystem implementation / improvement ..... full job details .....
