Interim Financial Controller - 3-6 Month ContractHemel Hempstead Hybrid - 3 days office-based 400- 500 per day (Inside IR35)We are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller to join a well-established organisation on an interim basis.This is an immediate requirement, initially for circa 3-6 months, with the potential for the role to develop into a longer-term opportunity.Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will have responsibility for managing a finance team of circa five people, whilst taking ownership of a broad financial control remit covering year-end, audit, management accounts and day-to-day financial reporting.The RoleKey responsibilities will include:- Managing, supporting and developing a finance team of circa five- Taking ownership of the year-end close and statutory reporting process- Leading the year-end audit, acting as a key point of contact for external auditors- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the balance sheet and supporting reconciliations- Overseeing financial controls and ensuring robust financial processes are maintained- Reviewing and improving existing finance processes and controls- Providing leadership, direction and support to the wider finance team- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business- Ensuring key financial deadlines and reporting requirements are consistently metAbout YouWe are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who can ..... full job details .....
