Financial Controller

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller for a multi-disciplinary construction group, to work in their Head Office on the outskirts of Orpington.As the Financial Controller, you will hold a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the financial management and reporting functions. Reporting into the Group Managing Director, your role will involve providing strategic financial guidance, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health and success of the company.The role will serve as financial advisor to the Group Managing Director and Senior Management, providing guidance on financial implications of business decisions.The Role will cover;-Financial Strategy Financial Reporting Budgeting and Forecasting Financial AnalysisCompliance and Risk Management Team LeadershipAuditingCash ManagementFinancial systems and processes Tax Planning and Compliance Stakeholder CommunicationSkills and Experience Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role.Qualified (or working towards qualified) accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong understanding of financial management principles.Experience in the construction or fire protection sectors is advantageous.Inter group /intercompany knowledge and experience An in-depth understanding of HMRC and CIS reporting and processesIn-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Strong analytical and ..... full job details .....
