Financial Controller Liverpool £55,000-65,000 + Bonus and Benefits Hybrid Working An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Financial Controller to join a rapidly expanding £25m-turnover e-commerce business in Merseyside - on track to grow to £50m in the next 3 years through ongoing UK growth and expansion into European territories. As the number two in finance, you''ll report directly to the Head of Finance, leading a finance team of two and working closely with the senior leadership team. Whilst focussed on Statutory, Financial Accounting and Tax aspects of the business (around 70%), this is a broad role working very closely with the Head of Finance with exposure to all financial aspects of the business. Key responsibilities will include: Ownership of the month-end and year-end financial close. Monthly management accounts and financial reporting. Maintaining robust balance sheet controls and reconciliations. Monitoring cash flow, working capital and key financial performance indicators. Overseeing the accounting for revenue, stock, cost of sales, landed costs and other transactions. Support the budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling process. Financial analysis and providing insight to budget holders/senior management to support commercial decisions. Monitoring stock and stock accounting across warehouses and third-party logistics providers. Responsibility for the company''s day-to-day tax compliance requirements.
