About the jobFinancial ControllerLocation: Newport, Hybrid Working (2-3 days per week in the office)Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 + BenefitsJob Type: Full-TimeTailored Search Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing and ambitious services group seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its senior leadership team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded qualified accountant to play a pivotal role within a multi-entity business that is experiencing significant growth and pursuing an active acquisition strategy.Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working closely with the Board, you will take ownership of financial control, group reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management and the financial integration of acquired businesses.The OpportunityAs Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring robust financial governance across the group while delivering high-quality financial information to support strategic decision-making.Key responsibilities will include:Preparing consolidated monthly management accounts across multiple entities, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.Producing year-end statutory accounts and managing relationships with external auditors.Overseeing all statutory and regulatory submissions, including VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and Companies House requirements.Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting process ..... full job details .....
