Financial Controller

Financial Controller An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to join a successful, growing organisation that has undergone significant expansion and change. This is a broad leadership role with responsibility for management reporting, financial control and the development of a finance team. The position would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can balance strong technical accounting with people leadership, process improvement and commercial insight. The Role You will take ownership of a substantial part of the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across multiple business areas while continually improving the processes and controls that underpin the operation. Key responsibilities will include: Leading and developing a large reporting team Overseeing the monthly reporting cycle across multiple business units and PandLs Reviewing management accounts and providing analysis ahead of senior leadership and board reporting Maintaining strong balance sheet controls and investigating key movements and variances Providing insight around cash, working capital and business performance Working with operational and finance teams to improve the quality and consistency of financial information Taking a lead role in external audit and acting as a senior point of contact for auditors Maintaining appropriate financial controls across revenue, accruals, prepayments and other key accounting areas Supporting ..... full job details .....
