This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys being close to operations, understands manufacturing finance and wants the opportunity to make a genuine impact. The business is entering a significant new phase, creating an opportunity for someone to take ownership of the financial controls, reporting and processes supporting a growing manufacturing operation. Working closely with senior operational management, you''ll play a key role in establishing robust financial processes, providing commercial insight and ensuring the business has the financial information needed to make informed decisions. The role will involve: Taking ownership of financial reporting, management accounts, month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations. Developing and maintaining effective financial controls, reporting processes and operational KPIs. Managing product costing, standard costs, inventory valuations and manufacturing variances. Partnering closely with Operations, Production, Engineering and Supply Chain to identify efficiencies and improve financial performance. Managing budgets, forecasts, cash flow and working capital.
