Financial ControllerBirmingham Hybrid £65,000 - £70,000 + BonusFollowing a period of strong growth, an ambitious Birmingham-based business is entering an exciting next phase of its development and is looking to appoint a Financial Controller to play a key role in that journey.This is a fantastic time to be joining. As the business continues to grow, so too does the need for a finance function that can support increased scale, provide greater insight and continue to develop its controls, processes and reporting.Working closely with the CFO, you''ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and lead an established finance team. This is a broad, hands-on role combining financial control, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, team leadership and commercial finance.Key responsibilities will include:Leading and developing an established finance team, with oversight across transactional and operational financeTaking ownership of the monthly management accounts process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliationsProducing monthly Board reporting across PandL, balance sheet and cash flow, together with meaningful commentaryLeading the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processesProviding departmental analysis, challenging performance against budget and supporting better commercial decision makingStrengthening financial controls and implementing practical improvements as the business continues to scaleReviewing and improving ..... full job details .....
