Financial Controller

This is a great opportunity for an established Financial Controller to lead the reporting, finance transformation and system development of a growing finance function and work alongside a driven senior leadership team.Offering hybrid working, a salary up to £80,000 and a car allowance, the ideal candidate will need be fully qualified with post qualification experience.

As a Financial Controller you will:Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.Analyze financial performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Develop, maintain, and enhance financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.Oversee the Invoice Financing debt facility.Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.Administer and monitor credit insurance arrangements.Support the CFO with Financial Planning and Analysis (FPandA), including budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment activities.Lead the external audit process and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements.Oversee tax reporting and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulatory requirements.As a Financial Controller you will get:Salary of £75,000 - £80,000Hybrid Working (3 days in the office, two from home)Rutherford Briant is passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion.
