      <description>Location: Lancashire | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | This is a Financial Controller job for an international product / FMCG business based in Lancashire, with huge potential to lead a large team, reporting into the global CFO (based elsewhere).  As such you will be number 1 in finance in the UK, and be in a critical decision making capacity across finance, and non financial stakeholders in and among the business on site every day.   While this role has a traditional Financial Controller title, the role is far from standard. You will be comfortable leading a team of 5 qualified accountants who each lead chunky commercial initiatives, business partnering across a wide group of decision makers and ultimately deliver clear, timely financial reports as well as commercial insight to help make quick short and long term decisions.  You must therefore be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with significant experience leading people, and a genuine blend of controls and commercial experience.
