Financial Controller

Robert Half are exclusively partnered with a well-established manufacturing business based in North Norfolk, who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller.This role will take full ownership of the finance function and will play a key role in supporting the Managing Director with financial insight, control and strategic decision-making. The position manages the day-to-day finance operations and leads a small on-site finance team.To be successful in this role you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or have demonstrable manufacturing experience, with strong experience of management accounts, cashflow forecasting and statutory reporting.The role will report directly to the Managing Director and will have responsibility for a Finance Manager and Accounts Administration Assistant.Key responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accountsPreparation of statutory accounts packs for auditQuarterly VAT returnsWeekly 13-week cashflow forecastingAnnual budgeting and ongoing financial planningFull management of the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Management AccountsMonthly balance sheet and bank reconciliationsProduct costing, standard cost maintenance and annual price increase calculationsKPI reporting, including weekly group reportingManagement of stock, stock valuation and related reportingSupporting the business with financial analysis and commercial insightEnsuring financial controls and processes are robust and adhered toAny other reasonable duties ..... full job details .....
