Financial ControllerLocation: Near GarforthSalary: £80,000 - £90,000Working pattern: Predominantly site-based Robert Half is delighted to be supporting a busy and growing SME based outside of Garforth in the search for a Financial Controller. This is a key appointment for the business as they look to bring in a commercially minded and technically strong finance leader who can add real value beyond the numbers. Working closely with the executive team, the Financial Controller will provide financial insight to support strategic decision-making across the business, while also taking ownership of the full finance function in a hands-on SME environment. The role will suit an experienced finance professional who enjoys operating at both a strategic and operational level, is comfortable in a fast-paced business, and has previous experience within an SME and ideally an owner-managed business. Key responsibilities will include: Leading and managing the day-to-day finance function Managing and developing a small finance team Producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts Delivering robust financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting Providing commercial and financial insight to the executive team Supporting business decision-making with clear analysis and recommendations Overseeing cashflow management and working capital Managing statutory accounts, audit and tax processes Ensuring strong financial controls, governance and process improvement Taking a hands-on approach ..... full job details .....
