This is a number one in finance role to support the business and report directly into the Managing Director 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (buy and sell scheme) Flexible working hours Bonus scheme Free onsite parking Brand new refurbished offices Employee discount scheme (includes gym membership) Private healthcare Role Responsibilities Take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and provide accurate financial information to senior management Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability, margins and cost control Manage cash-flow forecasting and working capital, including stock, debtors and creditors Provide commercial financial analysis to support pricing, investment and wider business decisions Assess proposed investments and monitor financial returns against agreed business cases Oversee reconciliations, ledgers, payments, VAT and year-end accounting requirements. Maintain strong financial controls and ensure reporting is accurate and delivered on time Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, systems and reporting Support and develop junior members of the finance team Work closely with senior management and other departments, providing financial challenge and practical recommendations ..... full job details .....
